Cashless Payment Options
From the 3rd December, 2012 we will no longer be able to pay out cash for scrap metal. The “Legal Aid , Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012” (LASPO) bill received Royal Assent on 1st May 2012. This Bill creates an offence for anyone buying or selling scrap metal for cash.
In view of the new legislation METAL RECYCLING have arranged a number of options for customers to receive payments as quickly as possible.
CHEQUE- Printed cheques can be issued on the spot for presentation at your bank.
BACS- Electronic payment direct into your bank with your account number and sort code
VISA DEBIT- A refund directly into your account using your Visa card, no pin number required.
ACCOUNT- Customers can opt to receive payments on a monthly basis via any of the above options.
NEW PAYMENT METHOD introduced DECEMBER 2014 -
METAL CASH CARD – Customers can opt for a free Visa pre-paid card. Funds are available immediately for withdrawal at any ATM machine or can be used for retail or online shopping around the world.
